Three variety packs of Powerade, Coca-Cola's sports drink brand, are under voluntary recall due to "the potential presence of a foreign metal object in the product, i.e. a stainless-steel ring" in the product. There's little information on the recall, save for a few details on an FDA Enforcement Report.

Coca-Cola initiated the recall on Feb. 27, 2024. The affected products were sent to 760 consignees (shipment receivers) in South Carolina and Florida. The Enforcement Report doesn't specifically indicate that products have been taken off shelves, but it indicates consignees were informed by "two or more of the following: Email, Fax, Letter, Press Release, Telephone, Visit."

All recalls are variety packs, but it is possible that stores sold bottles from the packs individually.
