A new cocktail bar and Latin American outlet has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 2700 Olive St. in Near East, the recent addition is called Te Deseo.
Te Deseo provides four different bars, a rooftop area with city views and multiple dining rooms for guests to enjoy Latin American-inspired cocktails and cuisine, with menu items ranging from several kinds of ceviche, empanadas and charred octopus to enchiladas, brisket quesadillas, char-grilled skirt steak fajitas and wood-fired Chilean sea bass, served alongside pineapple corn salsa and poblano rice.
The fresh arrival has garnered generally positive reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.
Ross S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new bistro on August 10, wrote, "Super cool new place. Great food. At night, the roof opens and a band comes out. Really nice rooftop bar upstairs."
Yelper Allen B. added, “When you walk into Te Deseo, it feels as though you are no longer in Dallas. From the service, to the drinks, to the food and overall vibe of this establishment, everything was exceptional!"
Te Deseo has yet to post its business hours online.
