Cocoa man, 51, dies in ATV crash in Port St. John

PORT ST. JOHN — A 51-year-old Cocoa man was killed when he lost control of his all-terrain vehicle Saturday morning in Port St. John, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.

The man, whose identity was not disclosed, was driving his Yamaha ATV north on Alton Terrace near the intersection of Piedras Street in Port St. John at about 11 a.m. Saturday when he lost control and flipped over, troopers said. He was not wearing a helmet.

The man was taken to Rockledge Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
