If you're after coffee and tea, look no further than this new business. Located at 6102 S. MacDill Ave. in Ballast Point, the fresh arrival is called Spaddys Coffee Co. It's the first brick-and-mortar location for the mobile coffee bar.
Spaddy's Coffee Co offers specialty coffees and tea as well as Cuban bread, cookie and milk pairings and light bites, notes the business's website. When it comes to drinks, try the iced matcha latte, New Blue (made with espresso, blueberry tea and milk or your choice) or a hot chocolate. (Check out the menu.)
The new addition has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Mark M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 13, wrote, "Awesome local coffee shop on Macdill Ave. and Interbay that serves local coffee and espresso! I ordered the New Blue, which is espresso steeped in blueberry tea, that was delicious and smooth. I'll definitely be returning for sure!"
Yelper Ameesh P. added, “The staff is super friendly and made great coffee recommendations. I ended up doing a cold brew with the seasonal peppermint mocha flavor. I also had some Cuban toast that is from Faedo's Bakery, and it was a great accompaniment to my coffee!"
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Spaddys Coffee Co is open from 6:30 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on weekends.
