Coi Leray wants other rappers to keep her name out of their lyrics. The “Players” artist called out Latto for referencing her body in one of her latest songs.

“Smokin’ on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray / B-tches like to run their mouths, but I’m the type to run the fade,” Latto raps on “Put In On Da Floor,” a track released Friday.

Leray immediately took to Twitter to express her disagreement with the lyrics.

“Latto bye. Here you go talking about my body. Please do not come on here and talk about nobody BODY,” she tweeted. “Lol like seriously. Out of all things. Lmaooo ya blunt my size? Lmaooo this sh-t is never ending.”

The 25-year-old added that anyone who mentions her body is jealous and that female rappers shouldn’t try to imitate their male counterparts when it comes to controversial lyrics.

“These b-tches wanna be like the n-ggas so bad. Y’all wanna have rap beef SOOOOOO BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD,” she wrote.

Leray urged anyone who doesn’t support or like her to ignore her.

“If you don’t like me, support me, or fwm don’t mention my name. Period,” she added. “Sh-t don’t make sense. I don’t know none of you bitches in real life. Stay in y’all lane and leave me outta the bullshit. I be minding my business and showing real love offline.”

Latto hasn’t addressed the situation so far.

It isn’t the first time Leray has defended herself when it comes to references or criticism made about her body. Following her appearance at the 2021 BET Awards, she received a lot of negative comments regarding her figure, according to Vibe. She called everyone to stop body shaming and spread love instead.

Don’t madder how natural she is, who her doctor is, if she has curves, cellulite, big small, round square,” she wrote on Instagram in late 2021. ”Let’s just make it a priority to spread love and worry the fu*k about yourself. Yuh. 2022 I’m excited.”
