Colbert: 'I'd like to ... officially throw my hat in the ring' for chief of staff

Well, he couldn't be worse than some of President Donald Trump's other administration choices, could he?

Last night, late-night comic Stephen Colbert announced his interest in perhaps the most critical position in the administration, chief of staff. After watching John Kelly's ouster (Trump announced Kelly would be leaving at the end of this year), Colbert wants to take on the job, not for altruistic reason, but because he thinks he could have fun. What would (or wouldn't) be on Colbert's agenda? Take a look at today's Best of Late Night, above, to find out.

Who else might be good in the role? Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon have a couple of suggestions (and both of theirs are also related to show business).
