Colbert: 'We went from BuzzFeed to buzzkill'

The BuzzFeed report initially seemed incriminating. Last week, the news site published a story stating that President Donald Trump instructed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress.

But, as late-night comic Stephen Colbert explained, many folks who read the story went from "BuzzFeed to buzzkill" after special counsel Robert Mueller's office issued a statement refuting the information that reporters say came from two federal officials.

How crestfallen were the late-night comics? Colbert declared that Mueller is no longer his special counsel. And Jimmy Fallon figured that Mueller's decision to deny the report must have been motivated by unwanted results from one of BuzzFeed's many quizzes. Want the comical details? It's rare to hear anything from Mueller. So rare in fact that Trevor Noah took a wild guess about what the investigator's voice must sound like. Hint: Think of a popular Disney character.
