COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — It’s been almost 40 years since Lorrene Debra Reynolds disappeared, and local authorities are now offering a $25,000 reward for credible information relating to her case.

Reynolds, 29 at the time, was last seen at her Hilldale Drive home in Columbus on June 21, 1985.

Several months later on Feb. 1, 1986, Reynold’s silver 1979 Mazda RX-7 was found abandoned at the Atlanta Marriot Hotel parking lot near Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Investigation showed Reynolds did not take a flight that day. As of now, her whereabouts are still unknown.

Authorities describe Reynolds as a white female standing at 5’5″ and weighing 120lbs. Reynolds worked as a sales consultant for Mary Kay, and she was known to frequent Al Who’s Night Club in Columbus.

The Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is working jointly with the Columbus Police Department to find answers on Reynold’s disappearance.

Credible information could lead to a $25,000 reward. If you have any information, authorities ask you to call the Army CID Southeast Field Office at (706) 577-4074.
