Cold temperatures forecast in Green Bay for Thursday night's Packers-Titans game
Fans coming to Green Bay on Thursday night to watch the Packers face the Tennessee Titans should bundle up.
At the 7:15 p.m. kickoff, the temperature is expected to be around 25, falling to the lower 20s by the end of the game, with a wind chill of about 10, said Richard Mamrosh, a senior meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
It'll be colder than normal for this time of year, but not record-breaking. It's a good idea to dress in layers: a sweater, a warm winter coat, a hat and "maybe even some gloves," Mamrosh said.
As of Thursday afternoon, several highways, including Interstate 41 northbound, still had some slippery stretches and snow covering, with icy conditions in the Stevens Point area. Thursday saw a dip in temperatures and snow showers fall over large parts of the state, according the National Weather Service.
