Arctic chill continues overnight, snow showers possible in early week

The arctic chill continues, temperatures steady at around 10°F tonight with a light wind that will keep wind chills around 0°F into Monday morning.

Overcast with a chance of a few snow showers around through Tuesday morning, with no snow impacts expected at this time. However, the cold will continue to impact the forecast early this week. While it will not be as frigid, highs will still be below freezing, only reaching the low 20s Monday.

Look for a gradual increase in temperatures this week, highs will rise to the freezing mark Tuesday and get to the 40s on Wednesday. Highs will then jump to the 50s by the end of the week and continue into the New Year with a chance of rain showers expected for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
