BATTLE CREEK, MI. — The Coldwater Polar Bear Middle School swim team kicked off their season Tuesday night with a trip to Harper Creek for their annual Ho-Ho Relays.

The Polar Bear girls finished in fourth place at the event while the boys team finished in eighth place overall.

Results for the Polar Bear girls are as follows:

The 200 yard Medley Relay team of Ambriah Lewis, Lexi Brakke, Sid Aseltine and Korrin Brown, fourth place; the 200 Backstroke A Relay team of Lewis, Elizabeth Vogler, Ava Motes and Harper Anglin, second place; the 200 Backstroke B relay team of Rosalie Katz, Abby Paul, Madilyn Kosmerick, and Lillian Scheidler, twelfth place; the 200 Breaststroke Relay team of Brakke, Brown, Aseltine and Motes, third place; the 100 Butterfly Relay team of Aseltine, Brakke, Lewis and Brown, fourth place; the 200 Freestyle A Relay team of Vogler, Anglin, Motes and Kaitlyn Carter, fifth place; and the 200 Freestyle B relay team of Arie Spencer, Katherine Smith, Scheidler and Lillian Parker, thirteenth place.

Results for the Polar Bear boys are as follows:

The 200 yard Backstroke A Relay team of Ethan Wulliman, Ivan McConnell, Wyatt Lanning, and Max Snyder, fifth place; the 200 Freestyle A relay team of McConnell, Snyder, Everett Duff and Brayden Kinsey, seventh place; and the 200 Freestyle B Relay team of Landen Wronikowski, Lanning, Redmond Hayes and Carson Brown, eleventh place.

The Coldwater Polar Bear Middle School Swim team will kick off their dual meet schedule next Monday when they travel to Portage Central.
