KALAMAZOO, MI. — The Coldwater Cardinal Swim and Dive team traveled to Kalamazoo on Thursday night to face off with the Loy Norrix Knights in the pool.

Coldwater battled hard but fell to Loy Norrix by the score of 121-53.

Two Cardinals did bring home wins on the night, led by Lucas Wischmeyer who secured a victory in the 50 yard Freestyle and Drake Thornton who took home the win in the 200 yard Individual Medley.

Also placing for the Cardinals was Wischmeyer with a second place finish in the 100 Butterfly in addition to his win in the 50 Freestyle; Thornton with a second place finish in the 100 Freestyle in addition to his win in the 200 Indiviudal Medley; Dakota McDaniel, third place in the 200 Freestyle; Ian Stough, second place in the 100 Backstroke and fifth place in the 100 Freestyle; Kyle Litwiller, second place in the 1-meter Dive; Brady Massey, fifth place in the 100 Breaststroke; Sam Larr, fourth place in the 500 Freestyle; Rhiley Harvey, fourth place in the 100 Breaststroke; Kyle Houvener, fifth place in the 200 Freestyle and fifth place in the 500 Freestyle; and Kaz Lindblom, fourth place in the 50 Freestyle.

Coldwater Swimming will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Jackson for a quad meet invitational.
