PORTAGE, MI. — The Coldwater Cardinal boys swim and dive team finished off their 2022-23 regular season Tuesday night with a trip to Portage Northern to face the Huskies.

Coldwater looked good and kept things close but ended up falling to Portage Northern by the score of 99-63.

Lucas WIschmeyer brought home two individual wins, taking first place in the 50 meter Freestyle and first place in the 100 Freestyle.

Also bringing home a win for Coldwater was the 200 meter Freestyle relay team of Wischmeyer, Mason Grabowski, Sam Larr and Tayler Eberts.

Also helping the Coldwater effort was Ian Stough, fifth place in the 50 Freestyle and third place in the 100 Freestyle; Charlie Gruner with a third place in the 100 Breaststroke; Mason Grabowski, third place in the 200 Individual Medley and fourth place in the 100 Freestyle; Taylor Eberts, second place in the 200 Freestyle and second place in the 500 Freestyle; Cooper Otto, second place in the 50 Freestyle and second place in the 100 Backstroke; and Brennen King, third place in the 100 Butterfly.

Coldwater will see action again next Friday and Saturday when they travel to Lakeview for their conference championship.
