Coleytown Elementary Staffer Positive For Coronavirus: Report

WESTPORT, CT — An unnamed Coleytown Elementary staffer has tested positive for the coronavirus, possibly exposed some administrators, teachers and other staffers to infection, writes the Connecticut Post.

Schools Superintendent Thomas Scarice recently notified parents about the situation, and said that those who came into contact with the infected staffer will self-quarantine for 14 days.

The 2020-21 school year is scheduled to begin under a hybrid model on Sept. 8, and those self-quarantining will have completed that period before the start of classes.
