Dec. 17, 2019: Danish shoe brand Ecco and Los Angeles luxury label Rosetta Getty have teamed up to create four modern variations on an archival Ecco clog silhouette. The shoes are tanned using Ecco’s water-saving DriTan process, and to further reduce waste, the sole and upper are attached without using glue or stitching. The collection is available at select Ecco stores, on Rosettagetty.com and at a number of luxury retailers. Styles range in price from $395 to $495.

Dec. 17, 2019: Leather goods maker Red Wing Heritage has teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s Fragment on limited-edition versions of two of its boots: the 4979 Moc Toe and 4665 Round Toe. Both shoes will be available to purchase beginning Friday, Dec. 20. The Moc Toe retails for $450 and will be available for purchase via Instagram, Redwingheritage.com and a drawing at Red Wing Heritage’s store in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood. The Round Toe, which sells for $400, will be available to purchase only via the Tribeca drawing. The drawing began at 9 a.m. today and continues through 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. Winners will be able to pick up their pairs on Friday.

Dec. 13, 2019: Brazil-based footwear brand Cariuma has collaborated with New York artist Baron von Fancy (aka Gordon Stevenson) on a limited-edition version of its Oca High canvas sneakers featuring the message “If I Wanna I’m Gonna,” written in Stevenson’s signature script. The shoes, available now online for $98, were made in accordance with Cariuma’s strict production standards. The brand only works with ethical factories and clean tanneries, and utilizes premium natural materials. Additionally, it reuses 100% of the water from manufacturing, and its packaging is fully recyclable.

Dec. 12, 2019: Louis Vuitton men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh is teaming up with Japanese designer Nigo for pre-fall ’20 on a one-off capsule called Louis Vuitton Squared. The range will include ready-to-wear, shoes, leather goods and accessories. Items will include graphics and interpretations of Louis Vuitton’s signature. At this time, imagery of the collection has not been made available, so fans should stay tuned for more to come at a later date.

Dec. 12, 2019: Fila and jewelry label Miansai have partnered on two limited-edition, gardenia-colored sneakers: the Fila Targa x Miansai and the Fila Disruptor 2 x Miansai. Both shoes feature a leather and suede upper, with Miansai’s signature screw-cuff accents. The Targa has a gum sole, while the Disrputor features shoelaces inspired by nautical rope bracelets. “Miansai has carved out a unique niche, with designs that double as works of art and serve as the perfect complement to our footwear,” said Fila North American VP of heritage and trend Louis W. Colon III in a press release. The shoes will be available at Miansai.com and at the brand’s New York and Los Angeles flagships. Both pairs cost $110.

Dec. 10. 2019: Dr. Martens and Stüssy have once again teamed up, this time for a holiday collaboration. The pair is debuting the 8053 HY, a new rugged silhouette that takes inspiration from Dr. Marten’s work range to reengineer its 8053 padded-collar style. The unisex style is made of Snowplow, a waterproof leather that repels salt and grit, and a hiker lacing system. For enhanced performance, the shoe features Dr. Martens’ Wintergrip outsole, designed with channels to promote debris cleaning in cold conditions. The shoe is available in black and cocoa, and retails for $155. The 8053 HY will be available starting Dec. 13 on Drmartens.com and at select Stüssy retail locations.

Dec. 5, 2019: Ugg and Japanese streetwear label Neighborhood have teamed up for the Ugg x NHBD collection, a limited-edition series of men’s styles. The seven-piece collection comprises two footwear styles — the Neumel chukka and Tasman outdoor slipper — three apparel pieces and two cold-weather accessories. The Neumel retails for $220 and the Tasman for $180. The apparel will be available at select retailers worldwide.

Dec. 5, 2019: Brazilian sustainable sneaker brand Cariuma is focusing on color with the launch of a collaboration with Pantone. The company is releasing a trio of limited-edition styles — Oca, Oca High and Catiba — in Pantone’s 2020 color of the year 19-04052 Classic Blue. The sneakers are made of cotton canvas with slip-resistant rubber soles and removable lightweight memory foam footbeds, and they feature the Pantone logo on the upper. “In just two years, Cariuma’s spirit of inclusion, optimism and stewardship has connected thousands of like-minded people across the world,” said co-founders David Python and Fernando Porto. “We applaud Pantone for mindfully using their global stage to spread much-needed positivity and camaraderie throughout the global community.” The shoes retail for $89 and $98 and are available online.

Dec. 5, 2019: Montage Hotels & Resorts and luxury footwear designer Beek have unveiled the limited-edition Seabird sandals, available at all hotels and resorts. The partnership of the two Southern California brands combines the relaxed style of Beek with the comfortable luxury of the hotel chain. Available in two color combinations, the sandal retails for $159 and is sold at the hotel’s boutiques and online.

Dec. 3, 2019: Kith‘s winter ’19 collab with Italian luxury footwear brand Diemme is coming soon. The lineup consists of three colorways created by Kith of Diemme’s Marmolada hiker. The silhouettes are handcrafted in Italy and executed with British suede on the uppers, lining made of lamb shearling from New Zealand, thick rubber EVA coatings that wrap the shoes for added protection and Vibram Winkler outsoles. The Kith x Diemme Marmolada looks arrive Friday, Dec. 6, via Kith shops and Kith.com. They will retail for $500 and are limited to 75 units in each colorway.

Dec. 2, 2019: Children’s footwear and apparel brand Super Heroic is launching its first social impact campaign in collaboration with NASA. With this partnership, it hopes to encourage and make accessible to inner city youth the reality of space exploration and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) career opportunities. In addition to NASA sneakers and apparel, Super Heroic is offering four child heroes the chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Space Camp where the brand plans to teach them about NASA, along with career opportunities in space and science. The collection will be available on Dec. 3 at Kids Foot Locker. Those interested can sign up for the contest at SuperHeroic.com.

Dec. 2, 2019: Clarks Originals has tapped designer Todd Snyder for the company’s first-ever partnership, in the form of two new colorways of the Wallabee boot. The made-in-Italy styles are done in one-of-a-kind upholstery fabrics inspired by Clarks’ origins as a rug manufacturer in 1825 and the ’70s textile patterns of Snyder’s Midwest upbringing. The boots will retail for $298 and are available in limited quantities in the designer’s New York store for the first 24 hours of Dec. 5. On Dec. 6, they will launch nationwide, online at ToddSnyder.com.
