College Credits: Wrenn Makes President's List At Youngstown State

Wrenn named to president's, dean's list at Youngstown State University

Emma Wrenn, of Arlington Heights, has been named to both the president's and dean's list at Youngstown State University for Spring Semester 2020. Wrenn is majoring in pre business at YSU. To be named to the President's List, one must achieve a perfect 4.0 grade point average in the Spring Semester 2020. To be eligible for the President's List, honorees must be full-time undergraduate students with a 4.0 GPA for least 12 semester hours of classes. Dean's list recognition is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who have earned at least a 3.4 grade point average for not less than 12 semester hours of credit in the Spring semester.

Recent graduate Bradley secures job amid COVID-19 pandemic

Despite facing a unique set of challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, recent Bradley University alumni and students are still finding jobs in the workforce. Dr. Jon Neidy, the executive director of the Smith Career Center at Bradley, shares, "Unemployment for the general population is different than unemployment for recent college graduates." Neidy has found that an employer's need to hire new talent continues.

With more than 50 Bradley students/recent grads securing job placements over the past two months, those statements ring true. One of the many individuals finding their next adventure includes: Andrew Bradley, of Arlington Heights Bradley is an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Information Systems Software / Web & Comp Security. He will be working for CDW as a help desk technician.
