College fantasy football's top performers from Week 11

If you’ve made the playoffs in your college fantasy football league, congratulations. Some of the players on this list below might have helped you do that.

QUARTERBACK

Daniel Jones, Duke, 48.04 points
AJ Bush, Illinois, 37.74
Jett Duffey, Texas Tech, 36.76
Bryce Perkins, Virginia, 34.62
Adrian Martinez, Nebraska, 34.10

Underperformer: Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State, 13.08

Jones exploded during Duke’s 42-35 win over North Carolina. Bush was here last week after Illinois’ win over Minnesota and he’s back after the team’s loss to Nebraska. Speaking of Nebraska, you should really pick up Martinez.

RUNNING BACK

Qadree Ollison, Pitt, 41.5
Devine Ozigbo, Nebraska, 39.3
Kennedy Brooks, Oklahoma, 35.4
Chuba Hubbard, Oklahoma State, 33.8
Ke’Shawn Vaughn, Vanderbilt, 32.6

Underperformer, Justice Hill, Oklahoma State, 9.5

The Yahoo staff college fantasy football league didn’t benefit from any of the top five running backs this week. Ollison and Ozigbo are on the same team and were left on the bench. So was Brooks, who I kept on the bench in favor of James Williams and Hill, who suffered a rib injury during the game. Both Hubbard and Vaughn are free agents.

RECEIVER

Tylan Wallace, Oklahoma State, 39.0
Antoine Wesley, Texas Tech, 33.1
Dillon Mitchell, Oregon, 32.9
Lil’Jordan Humphrey, Texas, 31.9
Stanley Morgan Jr., Nebraska, 29.1

Underperformer: Tee Higgins, Clemson, 8.3

Wallace has become a Biletnikoff Award finalist with his recent play even though Oklahoma State is now 5-5. Humphrey had a catch that made many people have Michael Crabtree flashbacks in Texas’ win over Texas Tech. Mitchell is somehow owned in just 37 percent of leagues.

DEFENSE

Ohio State, 21
Tennessee, 17
Alabama, 17
Penn State, 17
Syracuse, 16

Underperformer, Miami, 2

Ohio State’s defense has been one of the better fantasy units this season because of its defensive touchdowns. It got another against Michigan State.
