If you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We are diving into our favorite picks against the spread for this week, but if you are looking for more information or to place a bet check out Tipico Sportsbook.

Last week we were horrible at 3-5 and that brought our season total down to 21-18, which makes our winning percentage too small at 53%. The goal for the season is 55%. We are already off to a rough start as I watch BYU struggle with Utah State, but I’ll try to rip off some big wins for us on the Saturday slate.

West Virginia at Texas (-8.5)

Texas Tech won, 37-34 in overtime.

Quinn Ewers is expected to make his return and if he does play, I would be even more eager to take the points here. I actually jumped on this earlier in the week at 9.5 points and I feel comfortable taking the Longhorns even if Hudson Card is under center.

Wake Forest +6.5 Florida State

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

It is unfortunate I waited so long to write this article, as I was able to snag this at 7.5 earlier in the week. Dave Clawson is a cover monster going 16-6 against the spread against ranked teams. This will be the first time that Mike Norvell and the Seminoles are favored against a ranked team and I don’t think they are ready. Give me Wake Forest.

FIU at New Mexico State (-14.5)

Nmsu V Hawaii

FIU was recently destroyed by Western Kentucky, 73-0 and I expect them to continue to be horrible. New Mexico State on the other hand is coming off a large victory over Hawaii, 45-26. The New Mexico State ground attack is not horrible averaging 157 rushing yards per game. I’m laying the points with New Mexico State.
