College GameDay, meet Coach Prime.

ESPN's flagship college football preview show will do just that Saturday when it broadcasts from the Jackson State campus, ahead of the Tigers' Southwestern Athletic Conference showdown against Southern at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.

It's the first time GameDay has been to JSU and only the second time it has broadcast from an HBCU campus.

Deion Sanders steals show on College GameDay

Coach Prime entered on a motorbike and dazzled during his appearance on "College GameDay."

Sanders spoke about his mom, his influences in coaching, why he's entertaining other jobs and dazzled the crowd with chants of "Baby, who is SWAC!"

Stephen A. Smith is College GameDay guest picker

ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith will be College GameDay's celebrity guest picker on Saturday.

Smith played basketball Winston-Salem State, an HBCU, in college.

Why isn't Lee Corso on College GameDay this week?

Lee Corso, whose mascot headgear predictions are a bedrock of the GameDay experience, is not in Jackson on Saturday while dealing with a health issue.

Corso is set to have follow-up tests and maybe a procedure before returning to the set, according to ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit.

Who will be 'College GameDay' celebrity guest picker in Jackson?

ESPN had yet to unveil the identity of the celebrity guest picker for Saturday's game between Jackson State and Southern.

The guest picker traditionally participates in making game-by-game predictions at the end of the three-hour show, or about 11 a.m. CT each week.
