GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Audrey Cossin of Lakeland and Ruqi Liao of Winter Haven received Bachelor of Science degrees in industrial engineering with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology during the May 2022 commencement. Kimberly Do of Plant City received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science with high honors.
WESTERN NEW ENGLAND UNIVERSITY
Jeremy Bogacz of Haines City was awarded the James V. Masi Creative Excellence Award — Computer Engineering at the 2022 College of Engineering Senior Awards Ceremony held May 21. This award is given to the student, selected by a vote of the electrical and computer engineering faculty, who has shown both creativity and initiative in their senior project. He also received the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Award for Outstanding Senior in Computer Engineering. This award is given to the outstanding senior in computer engineering. Bogacz was inducted into Tau Beta Pi National Honor Society on May 21. Bogacz is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in computer engineering.
FLORIDA SOUTHERN COLLEGE
Olaris Garcia of Winter Haven was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest all-discipline collegiate honor society, at Florida Southern College.
UNIVERSITY OF FINDLAY
Ashley Moser of Lakeland received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and a Bachelor of Science degree in philosophy from the University of Findlay for the academic year 2021-2022.
UPPER IOWA UNIVERSITY
Angel Tapia, a financial management major from Haines City, was named to Upper Iowa University dean's list for the 2022 spring semester.
UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA-LINCOLN
Abigail Kelly of Poinciana was named to the deans' list for the College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. Kelly is a sophomore majoring in computer science.
INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE SCHOOL AT BARTOW HIGH SCHOOL
Nicholas Kieffer, son of Tom Kieffer and Kristen Stehle of Lakeland, participated in the 25th Math Kangaroo USA International Competition for Mathematics 2022. More than 30,000 students participated this year. Kieffer came in 18th in the U.S. and third in Florida. Kieffer is a rising junior at International Baccalaureate School at Bartow High School and teaches all levels of math and competition math at Mathnasium in South Lakeland.

Luke Jarchow of Winter Haven was named to the spring 2022 St. Cloud State University's dean's list. Jarchow majors in film studies at the College of Liberal Arts.
