College news for Alliance-area students: Spring 2022

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND

ADELPHI, Maryland – Area students have been named to the University of Maryland Global Campus dean's list for spring 2022, To be eligible, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a GPA of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5. Area students honored were Jakob L. Althouse of Salem; Michael I. Crimaldi of Massillon; and Kyle Pierson of Uniontown.

MARIETTA COLLEGE

MARIETTA, Ohio – Marietta College has welcomed 34 graduate students to campus to start the physician assistant studies program. They are scheduled to graduate in July 2024. Area students who joined the program are Taylor Coblentz of Columbiana; Ronald Meyer of Massillon; Hailey Miller of Louisville; and Taylor Planey of Uniontown.

PALMER COLLEGE OF CHIROPRACTIC

DAVENPORT, Iowa – The following area students were named to the spring 2022 dean's list at Palmer College of Chiropractic's Florida Campus in Port Orange, Florida – Lindy Baird of Salem; Jacob Demaree of Canal Fulton; and Taylor Hermann of Randolph. The following students were named to the spring 2022 dean's list at Palmer College of Chiropractic's main campus in Davenport, Iowa – Sara Durr of Columbiana; and Samuel Schut of Canton.

ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

ROCHESTER, New York – Rochester Institute of Technology conferred more than 4,300 degrees at its campuses in the 2021-2022 academic year. The following area residents received degrees:

⋅ Maggie Novak of Alliance, bachelor of fine arts in photographic and imaging arts.

⋅ Devin Jolly of Newton Falls, bachelor of science in game design and development.

⋅ John Masternick of Youngstown, bachelor of science in applied arts and sciences.

⋅ Sari Oister of Massillon, master of business administration.
