Bob Jones University

Daniel Leiford, a junior communication major from Boswell, was among approximately 820 Bob Jones University students named to the fall 2021 dean's list.

The dean's list recognizes students who earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester.

Lebanon Valley College

Lebanon Valley College had more than 800 students named to the dean's list for the fall 2021 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

From Somerset County is Alivia Fritz of Somerset, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience and psychology and is a graduate of Somerset Area High School.

Coastal Carolina University

Nearly 2,500 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the dean's list for the fall 2021 semester, including Erin Berzonski, a psychology major from Davidsville.

Eastern Mennonite University

Eastern Mennonite University fall semester 2021 dean's list honorees includes Molly Piwonka of Salisbury.

Westminster College

Westminster College in New Wilmington, named 390 students to the dean's list for the fall 2021 semester. Somerset County students earning this achievement are:

Nina Rascona of Somerset, is majoring in neuroscience.

Jacob Steinbeck of Windber, is majoring in biology.

Abigail Steinbeck of Windber, is majoring in neuroscience.

Geary participating in Cooperative Education Program

University of Alabama student Benjamin Geary of Somerset, is participating in UA's Cooperative Education Program during the spring 2022 semester. Geary is working for Mercedes Benz.

In the Cooperative Education Program, students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment. This program offers work related to the academic major or career interests of each student.

While in school, students carry regular course schedules. While on co-op, they work with professionals in their fields who supervise their training and work. At work, co-op students earn competitive salaries and may receive benefit packages in addition to valuable job experience. Participants maintain their full-time student status while at work and have priority registration status each semester through graduation.

SNHU

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) students from Somerset County were named to the fall 2021 dean's list: Jonathan Gregg of Windber and Jessica Judy of Rockwood.

The following students from Somerset County were named to the fall 2021 president's list.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the president's list.

Jared Sommers of Boynton; Craig Mathis of Somerset; Meghan Lawrence of Rockwood.
