Lehigh

Samuel Showman of Friedens, graduated with a Master of Science degree with a major in bioengineering from Lehigh University in spring 2022. Showman was among the more than 1,500 students who received undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees during commencement exercises in May.

College of Charleston

Jacob Vanlenten of Somerset, was named to the College of Charleston spring 2022 dean's list. Vanlenten is majoring in business administration.

Pitt-Bradford

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford has named more 277 students to its spring 2022 Dean's list. Dean's list status is awarded to students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Among those named was Christine Troll, an interdisciplinary arts student from Somerset.

Chatham

Greta Mort, Somerset, was the Somerset County student named to the Chatham University School of Health Sciences Dean's List for the spring 2022 term. To be eligible for dean's list, students must carry a GPA of at least 3.5 and complete a minimum of 12 credits for a letter grade.

Edinboro

Edinboro University recognized the Somerset County students who were named to the dean's list for the spring 2022 semester.

  • Samantha Elizabeth McKinley of Windber, English – writing

  • Estera Maria Kiesnowski of Berlin, criminal justice

  • Ryan Alan Bumbarger of Somerset, Associate of Applied Science in applied technology – electric utilities technology

Shenandoah

Kaelyn McClintock, of Windber, was among the 1,204 students who graduated from Shenandoah University during the 2021-22 academic year. McClintock earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Saint Vincent

Five hundred and ninety-two students were named to the dean's list of Saint Vincent College for the spring 2022 semester, according to the Rev. Philip Kanfush, interim vice president for Academic Affairs and Academic Dean. In order to qualify for the dean's list, a student must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better out of a possible 4.0.

More than 500 students received their academic degrees from Edinboro University May 7. From Somerset County are:
