East Stroudsburg

Haley Stickle, a public health major from Somerset, has been named to the dean's list at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the spring 2022 semester of the 2001-2022 academic year.

Shenandoah

Shenandoah University celebrates the 438 students who made the president's list for the spring 2022 semester. To qualify for this academic recognition, students enrolled in baccalaureate degree programs must complete at least 12 semester hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.90 or higher. From Somerset County is Kaelyn McClintock of Windber.

Saint Francis

Saint Francis University congratulates the 816 students named to the spring 2022 president's list or dean's lists. To achieve either honor, students must have full-time status and attain a quality point average of 4.000 (president's) or 3.500 (dean's) on 12 or more credits during a single semester, with no continuing or incomplete grades.

Cedarville

Cedarville University student Cejay Walker of Somerset, majoring in electrical engineering, was named to the dean's honor list for spring 2022. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Kennesaw

Kennesaw State University has recognized Harley Wilson for earning a spot on the President's list during Spring 2022. He is a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School, the son of Shannon and Christine Wilson of Berlin.

Frostburg

Shana Thomas, of Meyersdale, was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Thomas, who received departmental honors in mass communication, majored in mass communication with a minor in graphic design. She is passionate about photography, videography, graphic design, sound engineering and floor management of productions.

She was involved in several honor societies such as Phi Kappa Phi, the honor society established in 1897 to recognize and encourage superior scholarship; Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association honor society; Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of students attending open-access institutions and seeking associate degrees, bachelor's degrees or other college credentials; and Sigma Alpha Pi at FSU, as well as the FSU chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Creators Club where she served as secretary.

York

Joseph Patterson of Hyndman, graduated Summa Cum Laude from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
