York

More than 1,400 students were named to the spring 2022 dean's list at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher. Locally is Joseph Patterson of Hyndman, a 2022 civil engineering major.

Coastal Carolina

Coastal Carolina University recognized more than 1,200 students during its spring commencement ceremonies, held May 6-7. Among the graduates was Erin Berzonski, a psychology major from Davidsville.Nearly 1,000 students were named to the president's list at Coastal Carolina University for the spring 2022 semester, including Erin Berzonski. Students who made the president's list have achieved a 4.0 grade point average during the semester.

Susquehanna

Susquehanna University dean's list students have been listed. The dean's list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester.

From Somerset County are:

  • Hannah Gaibor, of Somerset, Class of 2024, majoring in ecology

  • Kira Labosky, of Windber, Class of 2024, majoring in English with a focus in publishing and editing

  • Bethany Grove, of Windber, Class of 2025, majoring in neuroscience.

California

California University of Pennsylvania has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester. Dean’s list students are undergraduates attending full time who have earned a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher for the semester.
