ACM graduates

Allegany College of Maryland recognized 256 graduates at the conclusion of the spring 2022 session. They earned 265 associate degrees and 38 certificates.

From Somerset County were:

  • Fairhope — Michelle Lee Bonadio, medical assistant; Elizabeth A. Emerick, psychology area of concentration.

  • Meyersdale — Bria Arnold, general studies; Daniel Timothy Foster, multimedia technology; Kaley Nicole Holler, criminal justice; Michelle Joy Kimble, applied technical studies.

  • Salisbury — Riley Paige Easton, general studies, teacher education — elementary area of concentration, teacher education — secondary area of concentration; John Thomas Maust, criminal justice.

Gannon

Cara E. Bako, Meyersdale, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Gannon University in Erie. Bako completed her sophomore year and is enrolled in the 3-3 Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Saint Francis

Saint Francis University featured approximately 700 students who received their degrees on May 7-8. Students in from Somerset County include:

Eastern Mennonite

Eastern Mennonite University spring semester 2022 dean's list honorees from Somerset County are: Antonia Beitzel, of Meyersdale, and Molly Piwonka, of Salisbury.

Mount Aloysius

Mount Aloysius College announced the dean’s list for the spring semester of 2022. The dean’s list honors full-time students who have earned at least a 3.50 grade point average (GPA), part-time students who have achieved a GPA of 3.70, or students enrolled in six to eight semester hours who earned a 3.9 GPA.

Lebanon Valley

Lebanon Valley College has more than 700 students named to the dean's list for the spring 2022 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

From Somerset County is Alivia Fritz of Somerset, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and psychology and is a graduate of Somerset Area Senior High School.

Bloomsburg University

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania had nearly 1,950 students named to the spring 2022 dean's list. Included was Cynthea Eppley of Jerome, a sophomore who is a ASL/English Interpreting major.

ACM Bedford County

Allegany College of Maryland recognized 256 graduates at the conclusion of the spring 2022 session, including 12 graduates from its Bedford County Campus. In-person commencement exercises for the ACM Bedford County campus were held May 16, and featured student speakers, Kasey Brown, Elizabeth Emerick and Ryan Kisner. For a number of the graduates, it was their first opportunity to be part of a traditional graduation ceremony.

From Somerset County was: Fairhope — Elizabeth Emerick, psychology area of concentration; Kasandra Faulkner, psychology area of concentration.
