College Roundup: Adrian men's hockey splits weekend series
ADRIAN — For the second-straight weekend, the Adrian College men's hockey team split its Northern Collegiate Hockey Association games as it fell to Trine Saturday, 6-2.
Much like Friday's game in Angola, Indiana, Adrian (5-2-1, 2-2 NCHA) opened the scoring with a goal, but the Thunder rallied to take a 2-1 lead into the second period.
This time, instead of the Bulldogs tying it up and winning in overtime, Trine added with a goal in the second and three in the third.
Ty Enns scored his third goal of the weekend to open the game, but it was all Thunder from there.
