College Roundup: Siena Heights volleyball picks up big win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Siena Heights volleyball team went on the road Wednesday and picked up its biggest win of the season, topping Indiana Tech in four sets.

Indiana Tech came into the match receiving votes in the national poll and tied with the Saints for second place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, but SHU left with the win.

The Saints (13-6, 9-1 WHAC) won the opening set, but struggled in Set 2. Set 3 gave SHU the momentum as it won a tight set before closing it out in four, 25-21, 14-25, 25-22, 25-19.

The Saints are one game back of Cornerstone and have won seven-straight matches since falling to Cornerstone on Sept. 17.
