College Roundup: Siena Heights volleyball sweeps Aquinas

GRAND RAPIDS — One day after falling to ranked Cornerstone in four sets, the Siena Heights bounced back with a sweep of Aquinas in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play Sunday.

It was a tight match throughout, but the Saints (7-6, 3-1 WHAC) came out with the 27-25, 25-22, 25-21 win.

Setter Aubrey Bates was on her game as she set up hitters Olivia Norman, Onsted graduate Kinsey Wagner and Devyne Eisenhauer as all three had double digit kills.

Coach Thoughts

Kim Berrington, SHU: We didn't play our cleanest match today, but we found a way to win. I thought our middle blockers were huge for us when we needed a block or kill. Both matches were a battle. The WHAC will be tough every week.
