College volleyball: Concordia St. Paul sweeps way into Division II final

Concordia St. Paul’s goal of a 10th NCAA volleyball championship is alive and well.

The third-ranked Golden Bears made quick work of Cal State LA, 25-16. 25-21, 25-14, at Seattle Pacific’s Royal Brougham Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022. Concordia (31-5) will meet West Texas A&M, a 3-1 winner over Missouri-St Louis in Friday’s first game. Game time is set for 5 p.m. CST.

Jasmine Mulvihille had a team-high 12 kills for the Bears, and Teagan Starkey had a game-high 24 assists as CSP advanced to its 11th national title game, and first since beating Florida Southern in 2017 for the second of back-to-back titles.

Brady Starkey has been the coach for all of the Golden Bears’ national championships.

Emily Elliott had a game-high 15 kills for Cal State LA (30-6).
