College women's soccer: UWS plays second straight 0-0 draw

Sep. 7—SUPERIOR — Wisconsin-Superior women's soccer made an unusual mark in its record book on Tuesday, playing consecutive scoreless draws for the first time in program history after a 0-0 deadlock with Wisconsin-Stout on Tuesday at NBC Spartan Sports Complex.

Yellowjackets goalkeeper Quinn Clark (Duluth East) made seven saves. Clark transferred to UWS after playing in fall 2020 at Gustavus Adolphus.

The Blue Devils had a 19-10 advantage in shots, 7-6 in shots on target.

The Yellowjackets drew with Hamline on Sunday. Changes in NCAA rules have eliminated overtime in regular-season games.

The Yellowjackets (0-1-2) play at Edgewood on Sunday.
