Decision Day: Collier County school board will chose next superintendent tonight

There have been 21 superintendents of the Collier County School District and the 22nd will be determined this week.

The Collier County School District will chose their next superintendent Wednesday night during a special board meeting beginning at 5 p.m.

The board will decide between newcomer Charles Van Zant Jr., who was the superintendent for Clay County Schools from 2012-2016, and Interim Superintendent Leslie Ricciardelli.
