In Collier, St. Matthew's House, Immokalee Friendship House open for shelter from the cold

Collier County announced that two cold weather shelters would open in the county as temperatures are expected to drop below 40 degrees Saturday and Sunday.

In a news release, the county said it had been advised that two locations would be available as temporary emergency shelters.

They are: St. Matthews House, 2001 Airport-Pulling Road, South, Naples, and Immokalee Friendship House, 602 West Main Street, Immokalee.

"Those who plan to use the inclement weather shelter should make efforts to bring their medications, toiletries, and anything else they need to be comfortable," the release said.
