Bundesliga strugglers Cologne will be without forwards Luca Waldschmidt and Davie Selke for several weeks.

Waldschmidt was injured in training on Friday, with tests showing he had broken his fibula.

The 27-year-old has been with the Rhinelanders since the start of the season and has scored two goals in 15 Bundesliga games.

Selke, who scored a superb goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Heidenheim, was substituted in the 71st minute with an injury to his left foot, the club also said on Sunday.

The injuries are another setback to new coach Timo Schultz, who thought he had a win in his debut game on Saturday before Heidenheim deservedly levelled.
