Colonial Wines & Spirits wine, chocolate pairing ideas for Valentine’s Day

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Chocolate is one way to your valentine’s heart, and enjoying a glass of wine with that chocolate really takes the celebration up a notch.

Robert Giles from Colonial Wines & Spirits, along with chocolatier Kelly Wassell joined KARK 4 News to talk about wine and chocolate pairings.

MasterChef finalist Jennifer Maune offering ‘I Love You’ cakes for Valentine’s Day

Giles and Wassell paired white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate with three kinds of wine. The flavors of wine ranged from blackberry, cherry, raspberry and strawberry.

On Thursday, Colonial Wines & Spirits will host an event where attendees will have a chance to taste pairings. The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 11200 West Markham Street.
