Colorado Man Greg Harms Among Those Killed In Alaska Helicopter Crash

A contracted helicopter carrying guides and guests from a lodge on a heli-skiing trip in Alaska’s backcountry crashed over the weekend, killing the pilot and four others, including a Colorado man. Greg Harms, of Aspen, was 52.

- A Colorado man one of five people killed in a tragic helicopter crash in Alaska. It was over the weekend. 52-year-old Greg Harms of Aspen was on board the copter. It was carrying guests from a lodge on a heli-skiing trip. Harms had 23 years experience as a heli-ski guide and had worked for many years at that lodge. The helicopter went down near the Knik Glacier outside of Anchorage.
