Colorado returned ballot counts available for 2023 election

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The 2023 Colorado State Coordinated Election is on November 7 and ballots are pouring into local election offices.

Secretary of State Jena Griswald’s office will send daily updates through Wednesday, November 15, 2023. As of Tuesday, October 31, 422,301 ballots have been returned throughout Colorado. The number of ballots returned for Western Slope counties are as follows:

  • Mesa – 16,255

  • Delta – 3,871

  • Garfield – 3,616

  • Montrose – 5,913

  • Ouray – 845

  • San Miguel – 751

  • Pitkin – 1,662

Nearly half of Colorado’s 4 million voters are unaffiliated, while 26% are Democrats and 23% are Republicans.
