After one week out, the Colorado State men's basketball team is back in the top 25.

Well, one of the top 25s, at least.

The Rams dropped out of both the Associated Press and USA TODAY coaches poll a week ago following a lopsided loss at San Diego State.

CSU went 2-0 following that defeat, with a home win over Utah State and a road win at San Jose State.

Those results, combined by losses from a number of ranked teams, helped put CSU back in the top 25 in the coaches poll at No. 23. CSU is in the "receiving votes" category in the AP poll, with eight unranked teams receiving more points than the Rams.

CSU's highest ranking in the coaches poll this season is No. 19. The Rams were as high as No. 20 in the AP poll before falling out.

The Rams (13-1, 3-1 Mountain West) are also in solid positions in other important metrics as well. CSU is No. 29 in the NCAA's NET rankings and No. 39 in KenPom, which are both used in NCAA Tournament evaluations.

CSU has two games this week. The Rams host New Mexico (7-10, 0-4 MW) at 8 p.m. Wednesday in their "state pride" night, and CSU plays at Air Force (8-6, 1-2 MW) at noon Saturday.
