Ever since USA TODAY published the Women of the Century project in 2020 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote, we can't stop noticing the important work of women that happens every day.

As a continuation of that project, we launched a Women of the Year project in 2022. For Colorado, Loveland artist Jane DeDecker took the honor for her work on a national women's suffrage monument.

We're doing it again in 2023 and asking for your nominations for Colorado Woman of the Year. She should be a woman who has made significant contributions to Colorado or its communities, someone who has given back and made a difference for Coloradans.
