Colton Underwood has come out in defense of his fiancé.

Underwood – who’s a notoriously polite and soft-spoken person – didn’t stay quiet after a follower made a pretty homophobic comment about his relationship with Jordan C. Brown. The pair reportedly started to date in September 2021 and got engaged in February 2022.

The follower left a comment under a picture of Underwood and Brown on Instagram:

“You think God would honor this?”

The star of season 23 of The Bachelor replied via Instagram Stories:

“YES. God would for sure honor my love for another human being.”

Again – Underwood is not publicly known within Bachelor Nation to clap back like this when interacting with a follower. With that said, the Coming Out Colton star probably gets quite a few comments like these on a regular basis, so he probably felt compelled to say something this one time.

Overall, it’s exciting to see Underwood showing that his roses also have thorns if you try to come for his relationship and his fiancé. It took the Bachelor star a long time to come out and feel good about himself and his love life, so it stands to reason that he won’t let this kind of negativity burst his bubble now that he’s finally happily engaged.
