Here are the Colts' 10 biggest contracts for the 2022 NFL season

·4 min read

The Indianapolis Colts' biggest salaries for the 2022 NFL season aren't surprising: the quarterback and some perennial Pro Bowl performers are on the list.

But let's look at some players who aren't among the top 10 of Colts salaries in 2022.

Jonathan Taylor, the NFL's leading rusher in his second season, is a huge bargain at $2.15 million ($1.32 million base, $813,482 signing bonus). He finished the 2021 season with 1,811 rushing yards, 40 receptions and 20 touchdowns.

► Receiver Michael Pittman Jr. — second-round 2020 NFL Draft pick like Taylor — will count $2.34 million against the salary cap ($1.39 million base, $955,973 signing bonus). He led the Colts with 88 receptions for 1,082 yards and 6 TDs.

► Linebacker Bobby Okereke, who had 132 tackles and 2 interceptions, will count $1.1 million ($965,000 base, $192,009 signing bonus).

Those are some great deals. (Salary totals are from Spotrac.)
