The Indianapolis Colts worked out four players on Friday, including former first-round pick offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson.

Wilson was drafted as the No. 29 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft to the Tennessee Titans out of Georgia. Between missing games on the reserve/COVID-19 list and a suspension for violating team rules, Wilson appeared in just one game during his rookie season.

Wilson also had a troubling offseason when he was involved in a high-speed car chase with the police in January. He was charged with “felony fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, speeding in a construction zone, reckless driving, reckless conduct, possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana, and possession and use of drug-related objects,” per Turron Davenport of ESPN.

Wilson was traded to the Miami Dolphins for a seventh-round pick but was quickly released when the team felt he wasn’t open to their offers of help.

Wilson had other run-ins with the law including a trespass warning while attending a Tennessee State off-campus party. He was arrested and charged with a DUI in September 2020.

The other three players the Colts worked out on Friday include tight end Ryan Izzo, wide receiver Duke Williams and guard Adam Coon.
