Colts’ player of the game vs. 49ers: RB Jonathan Taylor

In a wet and wild Week 7 matchup, the Indianapolis Colts (3-4) emerged victorious in conditions that can only be described as “football weather.”

In a game like this, you need a strong rushing attack, and Indianapolis had that tonight in the form of Jonathan Taylor during their 30-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers (2-4).

The second-year stud finished with 107 rushing yards and a touchdown, picking up some key third downs on a couple of strong runs. He also overcame adversity after fumbling on the first play of the game but finished with his fourth straight 100-yard performance.

When the field is chopped up and the ball is hard to hold onto, the Colts really came out strong in the second half. They will need to carry that same energy when they host the red-hot Tennessee Titans next week in the Circle City.
