INDIANAPOLIS -- Colts quarterback Carson Wentz wasn't about to let the holiday season pass without showering gifts on some very important people -- his offensive line.

Among them: Bottles of bourbon, boxes of meat from The Wagyu Shop as well as Yeti coolers and a Yeti drink bottle.

Quenton Nelson posted a photo of his stash inside the Colts locker room, tagging Wentz and writing "Christmas came early...Thanks brotha!!"

Matt Pryor, too, gave thanks with an Instagram photo of the gifts that read: "Appreciate it #2."

"Merry Christmas ya filthy animal," read the cards from Wentz to his O-line.

Holiday generosity toward his line isn't a new thing for Wentz. In 2019, as quarterback for the Eagles, Wentz gave his offensive lineman Bose soundbar speakers as well as massage roller chairs. He even went so far as to have the gifts delivered and installed in each player’s home, according to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The year before, Wentz gave Yeti coolers filled with speakers, equipment and hats for his blocking unit.

And in 2016, Wentz bought each of his lineman a Beretta shotgun personalized with each player's number, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.

Left guard Allen Barbre told McManus he believed the guns were a Silver Pigeon model, which is worth about $2,500.

All of his gifts are "very Wentz," a guy known for a love of hunting, good whiskey and country living.

In May, Wentz's farm home in Woodstown, N.J., sold for $1.7 million. The real estate listing said the house was surrounded by cornfields and featured a copper-style farmhouse sink, barn house sliding doors, a bonus hunting room and a terrace with an outdoor kitchen, heated pool and views of a pond.

Wentz invited his wide receivers in July 2017 for a retreat at the property. He chauffeured them around in his pickup, wearing camouflage shorts and flip-flops.

"We're out here in North Dakota, man," Jordan Matthews, then with the Eagles, said on a Periscope video. "Ain't no rap stations on the radio or nothing baby. It's straight bison burgers, country music and redheads -- shoutout to Carson Wentz."
