Colts Twitter unloads after horrible first half against Jaguars
The Indianapolis Colts have little going on on offense in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Matt Ryan has thrown an interception, he has been sacked three times, receivers are hurting him with drops and there are no holes for Jonathan Taylor.
The defense has been kept off-balance by an efficient Trevor Lawrence and gashed for a 37-yard rushing touchdown. The score is 17-0 Jaguars.
Here's what Colts Twitter has to say about it all.

Did Braden Smith forget how to play football

Can anyone physically in Jacksonville confirm that Reggie Wayne has taken off the headset and has started to warm up?

Lots of "it's a long season but we have to play better" deadpan quotes coming out of this post game, I can see it.

Dezmon Patmon drops a first down pass. Reminder: Chris Ballard loves the Colts WR room. Embarrassing and pathetic.

Best of times, Colts have one-half of a full NFL receiver room. And that half isn't playing today.

Great throw from Matt Ryan right there on 3rd down. Gotta bring that in 10!

Bad drop for Dezmon Patmon on third down. Should have been a conversion.
The gamble on wide receivers hurts the Colts again.— Joel A. Erickson (@JoelAErickson) September 18, 2022
The Colts’ annual no-show in Jacksonville is making this dilemma significantly easier.

This Colts O Line looking very suspect in Pass Pro so far! Another Sack from J. Allen on 3rd down. Ugly start. We gotta get something going. Need a BIG PLAY on Defense!!! #Colts

Ugly pick from Matt Ryan.

Can't say the Colts are doing much to inspire optimism.
