Colts vs Eagles betting odds, picks, predictions, final injury report, TV, streaming, roof

The Indianapolis Colts are coming off of a strange, wonderful week and face the possibility of a crash back to reality when they host the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Colts (4-5-1) beat the Las Vegas Raiders 25-20 in Jeff Saturday's debut as interim coach. Jonathan Taylor had a successful return from injury, and Matt Ryan passed ‒ and ran(!!) ‒ effectively.

The Eagles (8-1) are coming off their first loss of the season, on Monday night to the Washington Commanders. Despite the hiccup, coach Nick Sirianni's team ranks among the NFL's best in turnover margin (+1.4 per game, 1st), total offense (376.9 yards, 4th) and total defense (302.4 yards, 3rd).

The Eagles have registered 29 sacks this season (tied for 4th), and the Raiders have a league-low 10 (1 against the Colts).

Are the Colts favored vs. the Eagles?

The Eagles are 7-point favorites, according to Draft Kings. The over/under is 44.5 points.

The Colts are 4-6 against the spread, breaking a three-game ATS losing streak against Las Vegas. Just two Colts games have gone over, including last week's.

The Eagles are 5-4 against the spread, losing their last two games. Four straight Philadelphia games have gone over.

ESPN's matchup predictor gives the Eagles a 67.8% chance to win, while FiveThirtyEight sees the Eagles with a 56% chance.

Eagles vs. Colts picks, predictions

Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk: Eagles 20-16

Jeff Saturday will quickly realize these aren’t the Raiders. That said, Indy has enough to cover the seven-point spread.

Maurice Moton, Bleacher Report: Eagles 24-14

Perhaps the Eagles needed a loss to wake them up, which doesn’t bode well for the Colts, who can run the ball with Jonathan Taylor but lack reliable pass protection to keep quarterback Matt Ryan clean in the pocket.

Sheil Kapadia, The Ringer: Eagles cover the spread

(Frank) Reich has been a friend and mentor to Nick Sirianni. The Eagles win big, and Sirianni throws on a University of Maryland Reich jersey to pay homage to his guy.

Dallas Robinson, Pro Football Network: Eagles 28-20

The Eagles are better than the Colts in nearly every area, but Washington showed a run-heavy, ball-control strategy could work against Nick Sirianni’s squad. Indianapolis will need another excellent performance from Taylor and their offensive line to stand any chance.

Bill Bender, Sporting News: Eagles 27-20

If Colts interim coach Jeff Saturday knocks the Eagles off, then will he be voted Coach of the Year? Jonathan Taylor resurfaced with 147 yards and a TD in Week 10, and that's the recipe Saturday is going to ride with Philadelphia coming off a short week. It will work into the second half, but the Eagles get back on track after Monday's loss to Washington. Jalen Hurts hits A.J. Brown with the game-winning touchdown in the final minute.

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Eagles 27-24

The Eagles are coming off their first loss, while the Colts are coming off an impressive victory in Jeff Saturday's first game as interim coach. They looked better by going to Matt Ryan again at quarterback. The Eagles have run-defense issues, which could show up with Jonathan Taylor having a big day. I think the Eagles will get back on track and win this one, but it's close.

Eagles sign Ndamukong Suh

The Eagles have signed DTs Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph to help with the rush defense, which has struggled in recent weeks. Suh, 35, played for Tampa Bay last season. He is a five-time Pro Bowl player, most recently in 2016. Joseph, 34, who played for the Los Angeles Chargers last season, made two Pro Bowls, most recently in 2017.
