Columbia-Burbank, Liberty Christian continue winning ways in B football ranks

Logan Beck tossed three touchdown passes and compiled 170 yards through the air, as the Columbia-Burbank Coyotes rolled over Kittitas 31-8 in a non-league high school game on Thursday.

Elijah Kinsey caught two of those TD passes from Beck, and he finished with 97 yards rushing on 16 carries.

Crew Pariera led the receiving corps with 6 catches for 89 yards and a TD. He also had an interception on defense.

Matthew Wilder added 88 yards rushing on 14 Carrie’s and a TD.

NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN (COLBERT) 31, RIVER VIEW 12: The visiting Panthers gave up 21 third-quarter points in suffering their first loss of the season on Friday.

Hyatt Clark passed for 188 yards and two touchdowns, while Austin Eckhart caught 6 passes for 107 yards and a TD pass.

Defensively, Eckhart led River View (2-1) with 9 tackles. Nate Clinton added 8 tackles with a quarterback sack.

LIBERTY CHRISTIAN 42, SSC 0: Charlie Branning had another big game in the visiting Patriots’ win over Sunnyside Christian.

Branning rushed 12 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns; caught 2 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown; and intercepted a pass and returned in 78 yards for a score.

Joey Isley added 5 rushes for 78 yards and a TD; while Addison Lyle led the Patriots with 13 tackles (1 for loss).

Jayce Thomas led the Knights with 105 yards of rushing on 14 carries. He also had 8 tackles to lead SSC.
