Columbia County Sheriff's Office holds annual Day with a Deputy

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office held their 21st annual Day with a Deputy event at the Bobby Jones Expressway Walmart on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023. More than 50 children got a $300 shopping spree with a sheriff's deputy, as well as a free breakfast and pictures with Santa Claus.
"Just knowing that we can help these kids, you know, have a Christmas and get them some things that they may need puts a big smile on my face," said sheriff's Sgt. Daniel Massey.
