A Columbus woman has died from injuries she sustained in a Friday morning crash in Franklin Township, near Columbus' Southwest Side, the Franklin County Sheriff's office reported Tuesday.
Maryah Marcum, 22, of the Hilltop, died at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center later that day, the sheriff's office said. She was the sole occupant of a 2010 Nissan Altima that crashed around 12:40 a.m. Friday on Frank Road, west of Interstate 71, in Franklin Township.

The sheriff's office said the Altima was headed east on Frank Road when Marcum lost control, going off the right side of the road and striking a culvert.
Marcum was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition but was unable to survive her injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
Columbus police, meanwhile, have released little information about a fatal crash nearly a week ago on the city's Southeast Side — including the name of the deceased.
That crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, on Williams Road near Groveport.
The vehicle involved in that crash was found engulfed in flames near a set of railroad tracks, however, no train is believed to have been involved, police said.
No additional information has been released and no crash report has been made available online by the Columbus police Accident Investigation Unit.
