A party with dozens of teenagers and young adults ended in gunfire early Monday morning with at least three people injured and a home damaged.

Around 12:30 a.m. Monday, Columbus police were called to the 4800 block of Pintail Creek Drive, located off of Gender Road near Canal Winchester, for a report of gunfire.

The officers found a 17-year-old male and two 19-year-old males with gunshot wounds. All three were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive their injuries. Columbus police believe other people may have been grazed by bullets or suffered minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.

During the investigation, police found multiple cars in a parking lot of the Meadows Apartments, located on Pintail Creek Drive, that had been damaged. A home on the 6000 block of Rossi Drive, a short distance away, was also struck by gunfire.

Initial reports indicated there may have been as many as 50 to 60 young people in a parking lot having a party and some vehicles doing donuts. Skid marks were visible in the parking lot. There were reports that multiple people had fired shots and at least one of those suspects, who have not been identified, was wearing a mask at the time.

The shooting was one of at least three involving teens between Sunday evening and Monday morning.

Around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, there was a reported shooting near the intersection of Manchester Avenue and Ontario Street in North Linden. Officers found a 14-year-old boy who had been shot in the shoulder.

The teen told officers he had been walking north on Ontario Street with two friends when a white vehicle drove by and fired multiple shots at the trio. The 14-year-old said he was shot as he was running away. He was taken to an area hospital and will recover.

Around 5 a.m. Monday, police were called to the 800 block of Greenfield Drive in South Franklinton and found a 14-year-old girl who had been shot. The girl told police she believed she may have been caught in the crossfire between two groups of men.

The girl was taken to an area hospital and is expected to fully recover from her injuries.
